Most Memorable Moment at Tomb:
The day before Memorial Day, 2003, I was hosting a wreath laying ceremony for a World War II veterans group.  As I was briefing the group about the wreath laying procedures before the ceremony, someone tugged on my sleeve.  I turned around and found the person to be a feeble elderly man with tears streaming down his face.  He looked at me with painful eyes and said “I want to go too.”  Regardless of the rules, I told him to come with me.  He was unable to walk on his own, so I held him on one side and another veteran on the other.  Together we stumbled down the stairs and onto the plaza –  with tears streaming down our faces.
