Most Memorable Moment at Tomb:
Militarily, being put on post when Queen Elizabeth laid a wreath in 1957, and my involvement with the internment of the World War II and Korean War Unknowns in May of 1958.

From a strictly emotional standpoint, one day a group of Nuns were visiting the Tomb.  As they departed one of them whispered to me, as they past between myself and the Sentry box.  She said "God Bless you for what you are doing".

It gave me chills then and still does when I think of it.  It was my first inkling of what impact our duty had on other people.  Many followed and taught me the real meaning of being there.
