After the Army:
I have held senior management positions in four companies including the largest
company in our industry Pillowtex Corp. 1.6 Billion Dollar Corp. My function was
VP Purchasing and Logistics.
Family Information:
I am married to Sarah Greene Butrum. Sarah is a
Mathematics Professor at Wingate University in Wingate, NC. Wingate is a suburb
of Charlotte. We have five children: Bradley a Stock Broker in Marco Island,
Florida; Michelle Harrington a mother of three children in Dallas, Texas; Anne
Rogers a business professional in Dallas, Texas; Jennifer Butrum a store manager
in Nashville, Tennessee (she will be married at Fort Campbell next July); and
Michael a student in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Occupation:
Currently I am the Vice-President of Perfect Fit Industries, Inc. This
is a 150 Million Dollar manufacturing
company in the Home Furnishings Industry. My involvement in this industry
spans 25 years.
I hold the Chairman and Board seats for the Cherokee Center for Family Education, Cherokee, NC. This is affiliated with The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, as well as Board seats on two financial institutions.

Attended numerous seminars in my business career.
Most Memorable Moment at Tomb:
Relief Commander Memorial Day 1966. President Johnson placed the wreath. Significant amount of interchange with Secret Service as to who was in charge. We compromised. I wore a loaded .45 for Guard Change.
Attempted capture of a cemetery vandal within the confines of the chains. This occurred in August 1966.
Met and hosted Capt. Donlon, the First Medal of Honor recipient in Vietnam, Fall of 1966
